# Normalize

Menu Path : **Operator > Math > Vector**
|
|
|
|
The **Normalize** [uniform Operator](Operators.md#uniform-operators) normalizes an input vector.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Any zero-length input vector results in a Not-A-Number (NaN) result, which breaks subsequent calculations.
|
|
|
|
